The difference between plastic mold and injection mold
Plastic mold is the abbreviation of a combined plastic mold used for compression molding, extrusion molding, injection molding, blow molding and low foam molding. It mainly includes a concave die with variable cavity composed of a concave die combination substrate, a concave die assembly and a concave die combination card plate. Injection mold is one of the types of plastic molds. Plastic molds include: injection molds, extrusion molds, and suction molds. The injection mold can also be understood as a mold that is empty in the middle and then has a fixed small hole on the body, through which plastic material is injected into the inside, and the product is obtained by heating, molding, and opening the mold at high temperature.
There are five major systems for plastic molds, namely: pouring system, temperature regulation system, molding parts system, exhaust system, guide system and ejection system. Among them, the gating system and the molding parts are the parts that are in direct contact with the plastic, and change with the plastic and the product. They are the most complex and changeable parts in the mold, and require the highest processing finish and precision.
