Characteristics and advantages of PEEK material

 

PEEK materials, PEEK rods, and PEEK plates are highly functional materials invented and patented by British Victrex. PEEK material products have many advantages:

Self-lubricating has a low coefficient of friction, can realize oil-free lubrication, and can work for a long time in oil, water, steam, weak acid and alkali and other media.

 

Easy to process Parts can be processed directly by injection molding process. It can perform post-processing such as turning, milling, drilling, tapping, bonding and ultrasonic welding.

 

Low-smoke and non-toxic The amount of smoke and poisonous gas during combustion is particularly low.

 

High temperature resistance, American UL certification, long-term use temperature is 260, even when the temperature is as high as 300, it can still maintain excellent mechanical functions

 

Wear resistance. PEEK compound and its composite materials have excellent wear resistance in many extremely harsh environments such as high temperature, high load, and strong corrosion.

 

High strength has better mechanical strength in plastics. It also has high rigidity and surface hardness.

 

Corrosion resistance, insoluble in common solvents, and good corrosion resistance to various organic and inorganic chemical reagents.

 

Hydrolysis resistance. When immersed in steam or high-pressure water at a temperature exceeding 250°C, PEEK products can still work continuously for thousands of hours without significant functional degradation.
