Molding method:

1. Machining:

Use Vespel PI rods of similar size as raw materials and process them with CNC lathes or CNC machining centers. The advantages are high precision, fast time and high efficiency. The disadvantage is that there is a lot of waste generated by cutting.

2. Compression molding:

It is to inject Vespel PI powder into the mold cavity, heat and pressurize it, and finally cool it into Vespel Screw. It is mainly used for mass production with large tolerances. If the precision requirements are high, it is machined after compression molding to achieve the standard product size.

Physical properties:

1. High temperature resistance:

Vespel material can be used continuously at a heat resistance temperature of up to 280°C, and can be used for a short time at a temperature of up to 480°C.

2. Good mechanical properties:

Vespel material has high strength and good creep resistance.

3. Wear resistance:

Vespel material has excellent wear resistance and is suitable for high friction environments.

4. Corrosion resistance:

Vespel Screw has good corrosion resistance to a variety of chemicals.

Applications:

1. Aerospace:

In the aerospace field, Vespel Screw is often used to manufacture parts that need to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures.

2. Automotive manufacturing:

In automotive manufacturing, Vespel's fatigue resistance can be used in engines, transmission systems and other key components.

3. Semiconductor industry:

In the semiconductor processing process, Vespel's easy processing and dimensional stability can be used to manufacture parts that require high precision and cleanliness.

In summary, Vespel Screw is a high-end plastic product with excellent performance and a wide range of uses.
