Several recommendations for injection mold installation
1. Preparation before placement
Confirm the cooling water path, the depth of screwing the screw into the plate is 1.5-1.8 times the diameter of the screw. If the screwing is insufficient, it is easy to slip the teeth, and there is a danger of mold falling. Check whether the staff, materials, tools, documents, equipment auxiliary equipment, etc. required for production are in good condition.
2. Skills of lifting molds
When the lifting mold is not extended, there will be a segment difference between the model cavity before and after the placed mold, and for the production of precision products, there will be poor alignment, poor segment difference, poor tooth shape accuracy, poor distance and other phenomena.
When placing the mold, we must pay attention to this problem, and when the lifting mold enters the closing hand can push the smaller position, the clamping mold is stopped. Loosen and tighten the lifting ring, the front mold is the reference (because the front mold is fixed by the positioning ring), look at the rear mold part, when the degree of the front mold corresponds to the degree, the mold cavity position is suitable, continue to close the mold until it is completed, but do not start the high pressure is better. (The first clamping of the upper mold must not start high pressure first, and the high pressure can only be raised until it is confirmed that the mold can live flat).
3. Screw skills
Low temperature is the mold below 50 degrees mold temperature, can be closed to high pressure start, front and rear mold diagonal tightening screws, 8 screws can be tightened, when the mold temperature above 50 degrees, the screws should not be tightened too tightly before the mold temperature arrives, and then high pressure start after the mold temperature arrives, tighten the screws diagonally.
The mold material will expand with the increase of temperature and increase in volume. When the mold temperature is high, it is doubled, and if the screws are tightened before the temperature rises, it will inevitably affect the mold life and its mold accuracy.
4. Use of auxiliary materials
When the mold thickness is insufficient, it is necessary to install a template. When the mold temperature is high, a heat insulation plate is installed between the machine plate and the mold. Whether it is a template or a heat shield, its flatness must be as small as possible.
If the flatness is large, the front and rear molds of the mold are not parallel, and there is a difference after the high pressure is closed, thus affecting the product quality. When the mold temperature reaches the set value, check the actual temperature of the mold and adjust the mold thickness once.
