Description:

Filled PEEK sheet is to add specific materials to pure PEEK material to greatly improve specific performance and meet the application of specific occasions. There are three main filling and reinforcement methods:

1. 30% glass fiber filling, commonly known as PEEK GF30. It has higher stiffness and wear resistance, but correspondingly, higher stiffness also makes the plastic more brittle.

2. 30% carbon fiber filling, commonly known as PEEK CF30/PEEK CA30. Carbon fiber increases the modulus while maintaining the toughness of the material to the greatest extent. It is a material that maintains very high stiffness and relatively high toughness. Compared with PEEK GF30, PEEK CF30 has better wear resistance, and carbon fiber can conduct heat more effectively.

3. PTFE+carbon fiber+graphite 10% each, commonly known as PEEK HPV. This modification makes PEEK HPV have superior wear resistance and antistatic function.

The above three types of Filled PEEK sheet are all independently produced by IDEAL, and the overall performance can reach the leading level of the industry.

In addition to maintaining the above physical properties of PEEK materials, Filled PEEK sheet significantly improves the corresponding physical properties according to different additives.

1.30% glass fiber filling: higher stiffness and wear resistance, reduced impact resistance, lower thermal deformation temperature,

2.30% carbon fiber filling: carbon fiber increases rigidity, while maintaining the toughness of the material to the greatest extent, greatly reducing thermal expansion rate, improving thermal conductivity, improving hydrolysis resistance, and wear resistance is higher than glass fiber reinforcement.

3. PEEK HPV: has excellent abrasion resistance and antistatic function.

Application:

Filled PEEK sheet can be applied to different scenarios according to the different emphasis of physical properties.

1. PEEK GF30: suitable for structural parts and occasions requiring rigid friction, as well as parts that can work for a long time in high temperature environment and high static load conditions.

2. PEEK CF30: used for sliding applications and occasions with higher requirements for wear resistance and thermal conductivity

3. PEEK HPV is more suitable for occasions prone to wear and anti-static
